Accessibility

Vially is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with applicable accessibility standards and requirements.

This website is currently undergoing a phased redevelopment and enhancement programme. As new features, content, and functionality are introduced over the coming months, we are continually reviewing and testing the website to ensure accessibility remains a core consideration throughout the development process.

While we strive to maintain an accessible experience at all times, some accessibility issues may occasionally arise as changes are implemented. Where issues are identified, they are prioritised and addressed as part of our ongoing accessibility improvement programme.

Accessibility features of this website

  • Keyboard/Screen reader navigation to assist users who do not navigate the site using a mouse or other assistive technologies.
  • Skip to content link to assist users who do not navigate the site using a mouse or other assistive technologies.
  • Accessible images to inform users using a screen reader or other assistive technologies of an image’s contents.
  • Accessible forms to assist all users submitting forms on our site.
  • Correctly structured content with good heading usage to assist users using screen readers or other assistive technologies and to generally increase readability.
  • Useful link text descriptive links, not just “click here” to inform users using screen readers or other assistive technologies. Where “read more” or “click here” links have been used, aria labelling has been added for context.
  • Cross operating system compatibility – to ensure consistency in layout and navigation across all devices and operating systems and avoid bugs which may cause a user to be confused.
  • Mobile navigation – for mobile devices we ensured that all pages and features could be navigated using the appropriate gestures for native screen readers.
